Before I knew how to write, I entertained myself with made-up stories in my mind. I didn’t have an imaginary friend; I had a main character that I knew wasn’t real. I would imagine her in all kinds of MacGyver-type situations. And of course, she’d always get out alive.
So I was born to create. And the more I get to know myself, the more I realize how fulfilled I am when creating something. In a not-so-distant past, I made silly movies for fun. And music is another pursuit that makes life more bearable. Though I own several musical instruments, I still battle for the time to practice and perfect them. Needless to say, I still need some work at this.
I still have so much to learn about that big world out there. It’s been an interesting journey so far, and I’m hanging onto the belief that it will only get better from here.
